What To Expect From The MedBeautyLA Dermaplaning Class

All course participants are sent pre-reading materials before their class date. The reading covers everything from proper sanitation practices to blade technique, along with helpful guides that you can reference after course completion.

The day of the actual class will entail a recap of the basics, and then several hours of hands-on, practical training under the direct supervision of MedBeautyLA’s Lead Educator, Joanna Garcia, LE.

A model will be provided for each student and in some cases you are able to bring an additional model to practice on should there be time. All students will leave the course with a Certificate of Completion as well as a full dermaplaning kit, including additional blades and products, so you can continue practicing at home.

We keep our class size at six students maximum to ensure personalized care and attention, and we can sometimes even accommodate one-on-one training should our schedule allow.
