MedBeautyLA is the most convenient and trustworthy spot for CoolSculpting in downtown Los Angeles. CoolSculpting® is an FDA-approved, non-surgical fat reduction treatment. It targets fat on the thighs, abdomen, flanks, chin and jawline, bra-area back fat, buttocks, and upper arms.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
CoolSculpting isn’t technically considered weight loss — it’s fat cell reduction. The treatment freezes fat cells in a targeted area, causing your body to metabolize the neutralized cells out over a period of eight weeks. This results in up to 20-25% fat reduction in the treated area and changes your body’s contours. Clients typically receive between 1-3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart, depending on the area of the body.
What factors determine if CoolSculpting® is right you?
Candidates for the CoolSculpting® procedure typically have noticeable bulges in certain areas of the body (aka “problem areas” of stubborn fat, despite diet and exercise). All CoolSculpting clients will first visit the office for an initial consult to ensure that they are an appropriate candidate for treatment.
What happens the day of treatment?
You do not need to prepare in any way. In the treatment room, your provider will apply a clear gel to protect your skin. During the 30-60 minute treatment, you can read, check your e-mails – even nap! Before the treatment area numbs, you may experience mild pinches, tugging, tingling, cramping, or intense cold. You should be able to immediately return to normal activities with little or no post-treatment downtime.
Typical side effects may include temporary swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity.
What happens after treatment?
Fat cells may be flushed from your body for up to six months. Results may be visible as soon as three weeks after treatment, with the most dramatic results showing after two months. Healthy lifestyle choices on your part can increase your satisfaction with the results.
