The number of recommended DiamondGlow™ treatments varies by individual. Some clients receive one to two treatments a month until they achieve their desired results. Others pop in for a "maintenance" treatment whenever they feel they need additional nourishment or want to achieve maximum "glow." For optimal results, we generally recommend treatments every 2-4 weeks, and many patients get monthly DiamondGlow™ facials as part of their regular skincare routine, with more frequent treatments before special events. Our providers will work with you on a treatment plan designed for your specific goals and needs.
Yes! There's zero downtime with DiamondGlow™. You can apply makeup immediately after treatment, though most patients love their natural glow and skip makeup for the day.
We'll help you choose! Pore Clarifying for acne, Skin Brightening for dark spots, Ultra Hydrating for dryness, and Skin Plumping for anti-aging. We can also alternate serums between treatments to address multiple concerns.

As with all services, from haircuts to plastic surgery, the cost of a DiamondGlow™ facial depends on a number of variables. A treatment from an experienced skin care expert working in a physician-owned medical spa will be priced differently than a treatment received at a less legitimate establishment. The type of office you visit also contributes to pricing. For example, is the office clean? Serene? Are you receiving a boutique experience from employees who care? If so, the cost will reflect that higher level of service.
DiamondGlow™ treatments entail no downtime. In fact, we consider this treatment an "event-ready" facial. It is both safe and beneficial to receive this service the same day as an important event, like a holiday party or date night. You will leave our office with plump, hydrated skin, and you can return to all normal activities immediately after treatment.
The risk of DiamondGlow™ facial side effects is minimal. However, there is a minor chance of skin irritation from the microdermabrasion portion of treatment. Because of this, we always recommend seeking out an experienced provider. A skilled aesthetician will select the correct diamond microdermabrasion tip for your skin type. She will also assess whether your skin is too sensitive for a treatment that day and ensure that everything is in place for optimal results.
The SkinMedica® serums used in DiamondGlow™ facial treatments have not been tested on pregnant women in clinical studies. This means that while there is likely minimal risk involved, there is also no data to support a concrete answer. Because of this, we recommend consulting with your primary care physician before booking an appointment. And if you are not comfortable receiving a DiamondGlow™ treatment, your provider can absolutely pivot to one of our gentle, pregnancy-safe facial options.
