A: If you’re a new patient, please let your provider know about any medications or supplements you’re taking. You should also share your complete medical history so she can choose the most appropriate treatments for you.

A: To minimize your risk of bleeding or bruising, we ask that you discontinue any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) that you’re taking at least two days before your procedure. If these are prescription medications, let us know so we can discuss your options with you. You should also discontinue any blood-thinning herbs, such as ginger and garlic. We will give you a complete list of substances to avoid during your consultation.
A: We makes sure that you are comfortable during your procedure. If you’re having dermal fillers injected, for instance, each of the formulations that are used contains the anesthetic lidocaine, providing you with minimal discomfort. We will also numb the treatment area with topical anesthetics for further reduction of discomfort.
A: Side effects of Botox, dermal fillers, Ultherapy, or exfoliation procedures are generally mild and temporary. With some procedures you may experience mild tingling, redness, swelling or bruising. You will be provided with procedure-specific aftercare instructions to help keep you comfortable and to speed up your recovery.
